Starting his crime-fighting career in comic book pages in 1938, Superman has gone beyond the bounds of printed pages and into virtually any media you can name. After success in a pre to post production stages including creating storyboard, his movie exploits have given us some of the most memorable moments (good and bad) in cinema history. Russel Crowe will be the second Oscar winner to play Jor-El’s character after the legendary Marlon Brando. Interestingly, Russel Crowe (Jor-El) and Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent), who are father figures for Superman, have played the same role as Robin Hood.
