  • Russel Crowe will be the second Oscar winner to play Jor-El’s character after the legendary Marlon Brando. Interestingly, Russel Crowe (Jor-El) and Kevin Costner (Jonthan Kent) who are father figure for Superman, have played same role as Robin Hood.
